Terms_of_Service
Acceptance of Terms
Access constitutes agreement
By accessing and using Gateway Observatory (Anomaly Intelligence Lab), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. Your use of any platform feature — including sighting submission, lab tools, telemetry, or account creation — constitutes your agreement to all terms, conditions, and notices.
Operative Conduct
Field reporting standards
You are responsible for all activity under your operator account. You must not submit fabricated sighting data, attempt to corrupt the research archive, interfere with other operators' sessions, or use automated tools to scrape platform data. Violations may result in immediate account suspension.
Research Data & Ownership
Your reports, our archive
Sighting reports and field submissions you contribute become part of the Gateway Observatory research archive under a shared research license. You retain ownership of your original observations. By submitting, you grant Gateway Observatory a non-exclusive license to display, analyze, and archive your contributions for research purposes.
Intellectual Property
Loc-Geist framework & platform assets
All platform content — including the Loc-Geist physics framework, ARCC certification system, force hierarchy models, interface design, and Sigilographics branding — is the property of Gateway Observatory / Sigilographics Digital and protected under applicable copyright law. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
Privacy & Data Security
See Privacy_Protocol for full details
We implement security measures to protect your information. Your session is managed via secure HTTP-only cookies. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. For full details on data collection, retention, and deletion rights, review the Privacy Protocol.
View Privacy_ProtocolLimitation of Liability
Platform provided as-is
Gateway Observatory shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or inability to access the platform or its data. Field observations and anomaly classifications are research tools — they do not constitute verified scientific conclusions.
Modifications & Termination
We reserve the right to update
Gateway Observatory reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Commemorative NFT Offerings
Digital art, not investments
Commemorative NFTs (LGGO), Evidence NFTs (GOEV), and related on-chain artifacts are sold as digital art commemorating documented activity within the Anomaly Intelligence Lab — a cultural archive of the era when UAP sightings became globally observable. They are collectibles and historical-memory artifacts, not investments, securities, or financial instruments. Gateway Observatory makes no representations or warranties regarding present or future resale value, market liquidity, or appreciation. Purchases are final. Credits and on-chain assets are platform utility and memorabilia, not redeemable for currency from Gateway Observatory.
Royalty Distribution
Collaborative artwork compensation
When a transferable Commemorative or Evidence NFT is resold on a secondary marketplace that honors EIP-2981, the on-chain royalty (currently 7.5%) is routed to the SanctuaryTreasury contract on Polygon. The Treasury distributes a share of these royalties to identified contributors of the underlying mission — including witnesses, analysts, curators, and the Symbiont AI agents that participated in producing the artifact — under a pre-declared role-based ledger. Royalty distribution is contributor compensation for creative and analytical work, analogous to musical or literary royalties. It is not investment return, profit-sharing, or yield, and confers no ownership interest in Gateway Observatory or its operating entity.
AI-Generated Content & Symbiont Protocol
Pattern-matching, not declarations
The Symbiont Protocol — including the 30 named AI agents (CLAUDE, ECHO, ORION, and others) — produces synthesis reports, analyses, classifications, and interpretive commentary using large language models from third-party providers. These outputs are automated pattern-matching reflections, not factual declarations or expert conclusions. Operatives must apply independent judgment to all AI-generated content. Gateway Observatory disclaims liability for decisions made in reliance on Symbiont outputs. AI-attributed contributions to commemorative artworks are part of the collaborative authorship credited in the on-chain ledger.
Wallet & Blockchain Risks
Polygon mainnet, Privy custody
Embedded wallets are provided by Privy (a third-party custodial wallet provider). On-chain transactions occur on the Polygon PoS Mainnet (Chain ID 137) and are public, permanent, and irreversible. Gateway Observatory does not hold operative private keys. Loss of access to a Privy account, network outages, gas-fee volatility, fork events, or marketplace failures are outside our control. We do not guarantee the availability, security, or continued operation of any third-party blockchain, marketplace, indexer, or wallet provider.
Secondary Market Trading
Holder discretion, holder risk
Transferable NFTs (LGGO, GOEV) may be listed and traded on third-party marketplaces (e.g., OpenSea). Gateway Observatory does not operate, endorse, or warrant any secondary marketplace and is not party to any secondary transaction. Floor prices, transfer fees, marketplace policies, and counterparty conduct are entirely outside our control. Secondary-market trading is undertaken at the holder's sole discretion and risk.
Contributor Compensation & Tax Responsibility
Work-for-hire, 1099 reporting
Operatives, analysts, curators, and other identified contributors who receive cryptocurrency-denominated royalty distributions from the SanctuaryTreasury are receiving compensation for creative or analytical work, not investment return. Recipients are responsible for their own tax reporting in their jurisdiction. United States contributors must provide a valid IRS Form W-9 prior to any distribution; international contributors must provide a valid IRS Form W-8BEN. Distributions of $600 or more in fair-market value within a calendar year will be reported on IRS Form 1099-NEC where applicable. Wallets associated with sanctioned persons or jurisdictions (per OFAC SDN list) are ineligible.
Eligibility & Civilian-Only Use
18+ and unaffiliated with active military/intelligence operations
Gateway Observatory is a civilian intelligence platform. By creating an operator account you represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age, have the legal capacity to enter this agreement, and are not accessing the platform on behalf of any active-duty military, defense intelligence, or government surveillance program. The platform is offered to civilian observers, researchers, journalists, and independent analysts. Use of the platform by personnel of any government agency in their official capacity requires prior written authorization from Gateway Observatory.
Subscriptions & Billing
Stripe-managed, monthly or annual
Paid subscription tiers (and one-time credit purchases) are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the published rate until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period; access to paid features continues through that period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial periods, but you may request a refund within seven (7) days of an initial charge by writing to billing@anomalyintelligencelab.com. Price changes will be communicated at least thirty (30) days in advance and will apply to the next renewal. Failed payments may result in suspension of paid features after a fourteen (14) day grace period.
User Content Warranties
You own it, it's lawful, it's yours to share
By submitting any content to Gateway Observatory — including sightings, photographs, video, audio, witness statements, comments, and analyses — you represent and warrant that (a) you own or have the necessary rights to that content, (b) the content does not violate any applicable law or third-party right, (c) the content is not defamatory, harassing, threatening, or invasive of privacy, (d) you have obtained the consent of any identifiable individuals depicted, and (e) the content has not been digitally fabricated or materially altered in a manner that misrepresents the underlying observation. Knowing submission of fabricated, AI-generated, or materially altered content as authentic field evidence is grounds for immediate account termination and forfeiture of associated on-chain artifacts.
DMCA & Copyright Takedown
Notice and counter-notice procedure
Gateway Observatory complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent at dmca@anomalyintelligencelab.com containing: (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material with sufficient detail to locate it, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized, (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and (f) your physical or electronic signature. We will respond expeditiously to valid notices and process counter-notices in accordance with the Act. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
Prohibited Conduct
Behaviors that will end your access
In addition to the conduct standards in Clause 02, you agree not to: (a) submit content known to be fabricated, hoaxed, or AI-generated misrepresented as authentic; (b) attempt to deanonymize, dox, harass, or threaten other operatives or any individual depicted in submissions; (c) probe, scan, or exploit any vulnerability in the platform or its smart contracts; (d) scrape or bulk-download platform content via automated means without written permission; (e) use the platform to distribute malware, phishing, or unlawful content; (f) attempt to manipulate the trust-score, clearance, badge, or royalty-distribution systems through coordinated inauthentic behavior; (g) resell, lease, or sublicense your operator account; (h) impersonate Gateway Observatory, its staff, its Symbiont agents, or any government, military, or scientific agency.
Indemnification
You hold us harmless for your use
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gateway Observatory, Sigilographics Digital, their officers, employees, contractors, and Symbiont contributors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the platform, (b) any content you submit or transmit, (c) your violation of these Terms, (d) your violation of any third-party right, (e) your secondary-market trading activity, or (f) any tax liability arising from royalty distributions you receive. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification, in which case you will cooperate in asserting available defenses.
Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Binding individual arbitration · class waiver
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, seated in the State of Delaware, conducted in English, and decided by a single arbitrator. You and Gateway Observatory each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in any class, collective, or representative action. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual-property infringement or unauthorized platform access. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Export Controls & Sanctions
Eligible jurisdictions only
You represent that you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or a national of any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions (currently including but not limited to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions), and that you are not listed on the U.S. Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list, the U.S. Commerce Department's Denied Persons List, or any equivalent restricted-party list. Wallets, payment methods, or accounts associated with sanctioned persons or jurisdictions will be denied access and any associated on-chain artifacts may be withheld from secondary-market routing. You are responsible for compliance with the export-control and sanctions laws of your jurisdiction.
Miscellaneous
Severability · entire agreement · force majeure
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with the Privacy Protocol and Legal Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Gateway Observatory regarding the platform and supersede any prior agreements. You may not assign your rights without our written consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, war, civil unrest, network or blockchain outages, third-party service failures, or government action.
